05.PR002 BINDT Training Management |
1.3 Internal notification that a BINDT training course is to be performed. The Project planner and controller notifies the Training Coordinator that a course has been sold. The notification must include contact names and contact details for the organisation and details of the students that will be attending. All training will be facilitated via Metron’s internal systems. A user guide is available for reference throughout this process.

1.4 Retention of staff records Blank forms will be provided by the Training Coordinator.
Records shall be raised, updated and maintained for all Metron personnel who are involved with CM course delivery. These records shall be retained for a period of not less that 10 years and shall include as a minimum: The individual’s experience. The individual’s qualifications The individual’s certification The individuals formal training and updating (Maintenance of method awareness/currency) The individual’s periodic competency assessments

2.1 Obtain Student Information and data subject consent for retention periods detailed Contact Student / Organisation requesting relevant information.
Request confirmation to use and retain personal information.
The following information is required for each student:
Full Name Date of Birth Contact Address Contact Phone Number Contact Email Address Any additional assistance required (Command of English Language, any relevant disabilities etc) Command of English Language (Written and Spoken) Food Allergies Disabilities If a requirement for examination is included as part of the booking; Proceed to BINDT examination process Inform student of retention periods

2.2 Make sure students have adequate travel and support information Travel and location information will be provided in the curriculum / course outline. However, to help ensure attendance and minimal disruption; Provide each student with dates of the course and travel directions to Metron’s site (our website has a map and directions). Specific travel directions are provided for Train, Car, Bus and can be found on SharePoint . If requested, download local transport timetables and send to students. Local taxis can also be arranged if required. Advise students that Metron can assist with accommodation booking or recommendations, if required. Advise students that the course will be classroom based. Advise students on any potential safety concerns (such as site activities that may be ongoing at the time of the course), and that Metron can provide PPE, if required. Any prescription safety specs or similar should be brought by the student. Advise students that Metron will provide all the necessary course notes, training equipment and will have textbooks available for reference. However, advise students that they are welcome to bring their own texts though. Advise students to contact the Project planner and controller, for any additional information. Provide name, e-mail and phone contact details. Advise students to bring photo ID (passport, driving license, student card etc.) Advise students of the equipment to be used and whether they should bring any equipment.

2.3 Create/Update Create user in system using information received. |

2.4 Course Enrolment Enroll each allocated Student on the relevant course. Upon enrolment, joining instructions are to be sent to the email address supplied. The requirements for courses are located on SharePoint and can be used as a reference through this process.

3.1 Contact BINDT Approved Trainer Contact BINDT Approved Trainer to advise of potential training courses and determine availability of trainer. |

3.2 Ensure that trainers are made aware to any changes to processes Training and examination processes may be updated from time to time. Ensure that appointed trainers are aware of any changes. |

4.1 Site Induction The BINDT Approved Trainer and Metron Training Coordinator, should make themselves known to the delegates upon arrival at the premises, and advise on how they can be contacted throughout the course. All delegates must be given a Visitor Health & Safety Information leaflet when they arrive on site, detailing Fire Evacuation Plans, First Aid, Accident Reporting and House Rules. Point out the information displayed on the notice boards and provide the location of washroom services. Complete the Metron Visitor Induction Checklist for each delegate. The induction checklists should be handed back to the Training Coordinator.

4.2 Ensure student ID is collected Scan ID provided by student and retain photocopies.
Examples of suitable ID are:
Passport Driving license Student card

5.1 Update User Records Update records. All student information identified to be stored securely for no less than 10 years and is to include the following information as a minimum: Delegate Personal Details Form Date of enrolment and completion of training Course on which enrolled and the training location/venue Trainers and assessors involved Records of daily progress assessments Records of counselling End of course assessment and record of results attained

5.2 Issue Certificate Certificates are issued to all successful candidates |

5.3 Request Course Feedback Feedback is requested through trainee feedback form APP/5 |

5.4 Couse feedback to be assessed by QA The Training Coordinator should provide all feedback to the QHSE Manager for review. |

5.6 Notify BINDT Provide student completion information to BINDT or proceed to 6.0 for examination |

6.1 If required, proceed to BINDT examination process
|
|
|
6.2 Change roll-out and communication to training staff and BINDT. All newly drafted documents or changes to existing documents are to be communicated electronically to the Deputy training coordinator and all training staff.
All recipients should confirm acceptance and full understanding of these changes in writing and their responses kept on file.
If any major changes to Metron Policy, Personnel, Documentation, Facilities, or operating procedure take place the deputy training coordinator should inform BINDT of these changes immediately.

05.PR003 BINDT Examination |
1.3 Ensure that invigilators are made aware to any changes to processes Training and examination processes may be updated from time to time. Ensure that appointed invigilators are aware of any changes. |

1.4 Ensure that any Metron personnel that will be involved with course delivery have signed the confidentiality and impartiality agreement PSL/56. Completed forms can be found within the LMS.
