People and Careers

Metron are very proud of the calibre of our staff, all of whom are fully committed to the business and our objectives. We employ rigorous assessment prior to employment and we are committed to ensuring that our employees are appropriately trained and qualified to undertake the work we perform.

Careers

We have implemented a wide ranging training and competency framework within our organisation to ensure that all our Engineers and supporting staff have the requisite training and experience. This extends beyond simply undertaking training courses, to planning and delivering on the job training and gaining practical site experience.

We recognise the importance of employee retention to the successful delivery of our services, especially when operating in the UKCS Energy Industry where many jobs are transient contractor based. In particular, high employee turnover can result in continued re-training and re-familiarisation with Client’s assets and personnel, with associated increased cost and risk. To combat this we employ a number of measures to minimise employee turnover.
