Metron provides a delivery focused engineering service to transform how assets are operated and maintained to improve reliability and reduce operating costs. Our work improves asset net cash flow and extends economic field life to maximise economic recovery. We do this by focusing on the acquisition of robust data, critical plant equipment health care, operating envelopes, procedures and people.
We provide a one stop shop in support of ageing and obsolete control systems, particularly when there is no longer any OEM or vendor support. This is accomplished through proper identification of root causes of failures, use of our local repair and support services, and our experienced broad engineering discipline team. Where a business case exists, we provide fully supported selected engineered upgrades, designed to minimise downtime and operational risk.
We provide a turnkey service for our clients, substantially reducing the costs and delays typically involved in engineering control system retrofit projects and endeavour to provide the highest levels of understanding and responsiveness to our client’s needs. At the same time we work in an open and collaborative manner with all stakeholders, while delivering safe, technically competent and robust solutions.
It has been achieved by continued delivery of high quality service, while developing strong and trusted relationships through good communication and responsiveness. We repeatedly understand and fix problems, ensuring clients can focus on other activities in the knowledge that we will take responsibility for resolving all aspects.
We are based in modern 50,000 square foot premises in Inverurie, on the recently developed Kirkwood Commercial Park. Our location gives quick and easy access to the established UKCS oil companies.
For clients visiting us, we have private parking spaces available immediately outside our offices.
In addition to our suite of modern offices, we have approximately 5,000 square foot of purpose built, fully equipped dedicated workshops and stores which are used for panel and cabinet assembly, equipment calibration and repairs.
Internal and external dedicated training is a very important part of our activity and we have 1,000 square foot Demonstration and Training Rooms suitable for more than 20 candidates.
